Group Access – Diving In with TAGS: A Preschool Lesson

Diving In with TAGS: A Preschool Lesson is a continuation of Getting Your Feet Wet with TAGS using the CID TAGS: Teacher Assessment of Grammatical Structures (1-2-3) system to target and develop receptive and expressive language skills in a child with hearing loss.  The TAGS system is an easy tool designed to help a teacher of the deaf or an SLP focus cleanly on syntax, offering specific information to effectively target your teaching with children of different skill levels and monitor progress of syntax development over time. Through a preschool lesson, a CID teacher shares methods, recommended practices and strategies to help you make the most of your good teaching. This course highlights several fundamentals to help prepare and plan language lessons while learning about language correction and expansion strategies.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Prepare expressive language lessons
  • Chart and measure student progress on the TAGS forms
