Educational Consultations & Coaching
CID’s goal is to help teachers and school administrators develop effective ways to meet the needs of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. We offer customized consultations for both public and private schools and school districts beginning or improving their listening and spoken language programs.
Consultations support the professionals on a child’s educational team, including teachers of the deaf, speech-language pathologists, classroom and special education teachers and more. Whether you’re developing a new program for a student who is deaf or hard of hearing or looking to enhance an existing program, we can help.
Guided classroom observations at the CID school in St. Louis help professionals learn techniques and strategies that facilitate classroom instruction. While you observe, CID staff discuss the overall curriculum and how you can successfully implement LSL objectives into your own setting. We tailor the observation schedule to meet your needs and we provide resources pertaining to the discussion.
