CID Product Return, Training Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2025

This policy outlines the terms for returns, cancellations, and refunds related to professional development products and offerings provided by CID – Central Institute for the Deaf.

  1. Synchronous Workshops (Live Virtual Events)
    • Cancellation by Customer:
      • Customers may cancel their registration up to 7 days prior to the event to receive a full refund. Refunds will be issued within 5–7 business days of cancellation.
      • Seven days before the event, CID distributes key materials including the agenda, presentation slide notes, and handouts. Once these are sent, no refund will be granted.
    • Access to Recordings:
      • All registered participants receive access to the recorded session within a few days of the live event. Access is available for two weeks. This applies even if the participant is unable to attend live.
  1. Cancellation by CID
    • If CID cancels a synchronous workshop, participants will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund, processed within 5–7 business days.
  1. On-Demand (Asynchronous) Learning
    • No Refund After Certificate Issuance: No refunds will be provided once a customer has received their course certificate.
  1. Product Return
    • Customers have 30 days to return a purchase in like-new condition for an exchange or refund.
    • The purchaser will pay for the return shipping.
    • Once CID receives the merchandise and the quality is approved, a refund will be issued within 5-7 business days.
    • All sales are final after 30 days.
